There are four main categories of deliverables produced by this initiative.
Paivepo preservation products
These products are mainly records of cultural facts, assets and collections. E.g. collection of Shona Tsumo (Proverbs), Ngano (Folk Tales), Dzimbo (Songs), Family Trees, nhaka (heritage – traditional artefacts)
Paivepo creative products
These are products that are created to utilize and apply the preserved products either directly, indirectly and above all creatively.
These include mainly written artefacts like novels and plays of the present, the past and the future, fact and fiction.
Pachavepo collaborative initiatives
These initiatives are aimed at leveraging on other proud Shona, and Zimbabweans in general in achieving the vision and mission of the Paivepo Institute. They explore various disciplines from teaching, motivational speaking, coaching and mentoring and arts, e.g. traditional music, fusion with modern music e.t.c.
Pachavepo dream initiatives
Pachavepo means There will be. This word was chosen in order to lay a seed that bears fruit that has seed in it. (Genesis 1v29 – And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.)
These are initiatives that are meant to demonstrate that cultural background does not preclude us from any form of progressive advancement by doing things that are normally presumed unattainable by many with a biased view of our culture and some of us who have an inferiority complex.
This goes into the industrial manufacturing arena starting with small artefacts like toys
